IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be followed:
1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. Make sure the power supply corresponds to one on the rating label.
3. To avoid electrical shock, do not immerse electrical parts in water or other liquid.
4. Do not allow children to operate or play with the appliance.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use, or before putting on/taking off parts.
6. Do not use with damaged electrical cord or plug.
7. If damaged or malfunction occurs, refer to an authorized service center only.
8. Do not place on or near hot surfaces.
9. Never pull the appliance by the power cord.
10. Do not use the appliance for other than intended household use.
Caution
1. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
Chrome surfaces become extremely hot.
2. Do not use any other attachments which are not supplied with the appliance.
3. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
4. Oversized foods, buttered bread, metal foil packages or utensils must not be inserted in the toaster as it will caused
risk of fire or electric shock.
5. If bread gets jammed, unplug the toaster, let it cool, and carefully remove the bread. Don’t use anything sharp, it will
damage the elements.
Instruction for use
Before first use, remove all packaging materials from the unit. Check inside toaster slots for packaging/stickers and
remove.
Note:
Do not place any bread in toaster during the first toasting to allow the new elements to preheat and burn off
any dust that may accumulated during assembly.
1. Place the unit on a clean and level surface, and at least 3 inches away from wall.
2. Unwind the power cord and plug into the mains supply.
3. Make sure the crumb tray is on place, insert slices of bread. Be sure the bread carriage level is on UP position.
4. Turn the light/dark selector onto desired position. The higher numbers (1-6), make the darker toast color.
5. Press the bread carriage level down until it locks into position.
6. When the toasting cycle is completed the toast is automatically pop up. To cancel the toasting cycle before it is
completed, simply press the cancel button.
7. After use, unplug the toaster from electrical outlet.
Defrost button
The defrost button is designed to firstly defrost and then toast the bread, which extends the toasting cycle slightly.
1. Insert slices of bread into the bread slots.
2. Turn the light/dark selector onto the desired position:
•
Setting 1-2: for refrigerated breads and thinner frozen items such as frozen pancakes.
•
Setting 3-4: for pastries, frozen waffles, thin French toast and refrigerated bagels.
•
Setting 5-6: for thicker frozen items such as bagels, hand cut bread and thick French toast.

Press the bread carriage level down until it locks into position.
4. When the cycle is completed the bread carriage will raise the toast up.
