Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the Alpha Vertical Antenna, a complete 1KW
deployment system including antenna system, tripod, & mount for Portable or
Temporary Emergency Deployment, Field Day, Apartment/Condo Residents, or
HOA's.
The total height of the entire antenna system is approximately 17 feet in height.
Included is a Mil-Stick whip composed of 21 inch aluminum sections that fit
together with heavy duty shock cord and a 24 x 2/8 stud. The tripod has been
designed to be your counterpoise system (to which you can add our
Counterpoise Kit or your own wiring for even greater performance). Also included
is a standard mount where there is a UHF connector that you simply attach the
Alpha 1KW Match, Mil-Stick whip, and four active horizontal elements.
Frequency Coverage – Excellent performance on 6 through 40 Meters and
tunable on 80/160 Meters.
Alpha Antenna uses antenna designs that are known to work! Designed by
Amateur Radio Operators at Alpha Antenna, in conjunction with a Certified
Commercial Broadcast Engineer, the Alpha Vertical Antenna uses the best
antenna designs in one antenna system.
