2.3 Graphical user interface
2.3.2 Server administration screen
To access the server administration screen (see Fig. 2.4), click Admin on the top
left of the start screen or the instrument control screen. You can only access the
administrator screen if you are connected with the
admin1 account. Other accounts
do not have administrator rights.

From the server administration screen, you can set angle and wavelength units, set
maximum voltage, pulse width and duty cycle limits for the pulsed QCL driver, cre-
ate and delete user accounts, correct an angular offset of the calibration curve, and
download the current wavelength calibration file, or upload a new one.
To select desired angle and wavelength units, click the corresponding buttons. To
set maximum voltage, pulse width, and duty cycle for the pulse QCL driver, enter the
desired values in the correponding text boxes and click the
Set buttons on the right.
To create a new user, enter the new user name and password in the corresponding
text boxes and click
Add user . The new user will be added to the list below. Pass-
words of existing users can be changed by entering a new password in the text box
next to the user name and clicking
Update . To delete a user, simply click Delete and
confirm.
If an offset is observed between set and measured wavelength values, it is possible to
correct for it without having to upload a new calibration curve. To do so, click
Correct
