- Battery charge level:
The battery charge level is shown in steps and the decimal point blinks: flashing 0. empty - . full
To see which heat setting is on, press either the grey ON-UP or black OFF-DOWN button and the
temperature setting will be displayed. After 5 seconds the display switches back to the battery
charge level display.
- Switch-off:
Press the black OFF-DOWN button until the display is no longer lit.
The battery/controller will also shut down when the battery is too low.
The battery will automatically shut down if the cable of the heating element is disconnected from
the battery pack.
USE:
The heated vest provides comfortable and continuous warmth. Do not allow your body to get cold in
the first place, because more energy will be required to warm it up, than if you had turned the heat
on right at the beginning.
Warm up the vest before putting it on by turning battery pack on setting 4 for 5 minutes.
Then, turn the heat to setting 2 or 3 to maintain comfortable warmth. In cold weather these
temperature settings may not be noticeable but your body will be comfortably warm. The setting
should not be too high in order to prevent sweating, which cools the body.
It may be necessary to use setting 3 or 4 as the basic setting to generate comfortable warmth in
very cold weather.
CLEANING: (Figure 4)
- Remove battery pack
- Cover the plug with the waterproof cover
- Close all the zippers
- Wash with similar colours
- Mashine washing is possible up to 30°C
- Hand wash 30°C recommended
- Do not tumble dry / do not wring / do not put in dryer
- Hang on a coathanger to dry
- Do not bleach / do not iron

Temperature and Duration:
The following temperature and heating times are approximate values. The actual performance
depends on how the battery pack was charged, the duration of the charging process and on the
various tolerances of the battery and microcontrollers. The heating times are guide values and
apply for an outside temperature of 18° C 0° F. The battery pack is water repellent and
shockproof.
