5. Storage
HDE circular duct electric heaters should be stored indoors and in a dry location in the original cardboard box
packaging. Prevent the permeation of moisture and dust. Relative humidity at the storage location must not
exceed 60%.
6. Connection
6.1 Connecting to electrical installation
Guidelines for connecting:
•
during installation of the HDE circular duct electric heater, please observe the applicable standards for
electrical installations
•
electrical connections are to be performed by qualified personnel according to the connections diagram
•
device connection should be performed so that the power supply from the heater is disconnected on fan
shutting down or when there is no air flow through the heater
•
the electrical installation powering the HDE round duct electric heater should be fitted with a class III
surge switch, which ensures that all poles are opened with min. 3mm gap between contacts. When
selecting the switch, take into account nominal power consumption
•
the cross-section of power cables needs to be properly selected to match heater power and connected
via a gland. The cables must not touch the metal heater cover
•
the electrical installation to which HDE circular duct electrical heaters, their connection boxes and control
circuits are to be connected must be fitted with a protective circuit
•
connection box cover is connected to the heater casing with a protective cable to keep the continuity of
the PE (GND) protective circuit. This cable must not be removed
•
to keep the IP insulation class as indicated in the catalog sheet, tighten the insulating gland to seal the
cable exit from the connection box. Tighten the connection box cover with two screws
•
installing the heater in a different way than indicated in the manual, operating the device outside the
installation or own attempts to repair the heater result in loss of warranty.
