Note

The DC Power Button controls power to the DC-IN jack only.

PoE+ power provided on the LAN1 port is not affected by this

button.

5. Go to the ”Install Anti-theft Device” section.

Install Anti-theft

Device

Installation of an anti-theft cable/lock is optional. If you choose to install a

physical security device, the access point has a lock port that is

compatible with a Kensington lock. The lock port can be used to physically

secure the device when it is installed on a table, wall, or a ceiling.

Note

Anti-theft devices including a Kensington lock are not available from

Allied Telesis.

1. Follow the instructions provided with the vendor’s anti-theft device

packaging for the installation. Refer to Figure 17 for the Kensington

lock port location.

2. If you are installing your access point on a table top surface, your unit

is now ready for use.

3. If you are installing your access point on the ceiling or wall installation,

go to “Ceiling or Wall - Attach Access Point to Mounting Bracket” on

page 43 section.
