Redundant Power Supply
Both access point models offer a redundant power supply system. In
addition to the power supply through the DC IN jack, the access point
has one PoE+ capable LAN port (LAN1). The external power supply
connected to the DC IN jack is the primary power source for the unit.
If the power supply unit on the access point fails, power is supplied to
the access point via the PoE+ port. Table 1 shows power source for the
access point models under specific conditions.
