Chapter 2: Installing the Bridging Converter

Using an AT-GS2002 Series Converter on a Desktop

This section explains how to use an AT-GS2002 Series converter on a
desktop.

To install an AT-GS2002 Series converter in an AT-MCR12 rackmount
chassis, refer to “Installing the Bridging Converter in the AT-MCR12
Chassis” on page 41.

To use an AT-GS2002 Series converter on a desktop, perform the
following procedure:

1. Remove the converter from its shipping container and store the

packaging material in a safe location.

2. Turn the converter over and place it on a secure surface.

3. Attach the rubber feet, as shown in Figure 11.

Do not apply power at this time. Proceed to “Cabling the Bridging
Converter” on page 43.
