Chapter 4: Modifying Advanced Properties

Forward Error Correction

The Forward Error Correction property allows for errors in the received
packet to be corrected without the need for a packet re-transmission.

To specify or change the Forward Error Correction feature, do the
following:

1. Access the Advanced Properties.

See “Accessing Advanced Properties” on page 54.

2. Select

Forward Error Correction

in the Property box.

The Forward Error Correction window is displayed as shown in
Figure 27.
