4. Double click on the
blue field

in the CTU instruction block.

The Preset and Accumulator values in ControlLogix are double integer words. This allows you to enter
32-bit values.

Insert
key, type 'BST', and press

Rung 0 should now look like this:
10. Click and hold the mouse button on the vertical blue bar of the branch on Rung 0, and drag it to the left
until it is past the CTU instruction and a green dot appears. Release the mouse button to place the
branch around the CTU instruction.
Rung 0 now looks like this:
11. Click on the lower left corner of the branch to move the cursor.
12. Press the
Insert
key, type 'OTU' for the Output Unlatch instruction, and press
Enter
