        Energizing Equipment

5.

After all of the disconnect devices have been closed, loads such as 
lighting circuits, motor starters, contactors, etc. may be energized.
a. When power factor correction capacitors are energized with the 

motor windings and the start-up procedure requires that the 
respective motors be jogged or inched, temporarily disconnect the 
power factor correction capacitors. For more information on power 
factor capacitors and MCC units, see publication 
2100-AT001

specifications.

NOTE: 

Excessive starting currents and/or acceleration times may cause
