ATTENTION:
•
Read this document and the documents listed in the Additional Resources
section about installation, configuration, and operation of this equipment
before you install, configure, operate, or maintain this product. Users are
required to familiarize themselves with installation and wiring instructions
in addition to requirements of all applicable codes, laws, and standards.
•
Installation, adjustments, putting into service, use, assembly, disassembly,
and maintenance are required to be carried out by suitably trained personnel
in accordance with applicable code of practice.
•
In case of malfunction or damage, no attempts at repair should be made.
The module should be returned to the manufacturer for repair. Do not
dismantle the module.
ATTENTION:
•
To comply with the CE Low Voltage Directive (LVD), this equipment must be
powered from a source compliant with the following: Safety Extra Low
Voltage (SELV) or Protected Extra Low Voltage (PELV).
•
To comply with UL restrictions, this equipment must be powered from a
Class 2 or Limited Voltage Limited Current Source (LVLC).
ATTENTION:
•
The USB and serial cables are not to exceed 3.0 m (9.84 ft).
•
Do not wire more than 2 conductors on any single terminal.
•
Do not remove the Removable Terminal Block (RTB) until power is removed.
•
Do not connect directly to line voltage. Line voltage must be supplied by a
suitable, approved isolating transformer or power supply having short circuit
capacity not exceeding 100 VA maximum or equivalent.
•
For Class I Division 2 applications, use only Class I Division 2 listed or
recognized accessories and modules approved for use within the Micro800
®
platform.
