Recommendations
If steam escapes from
around the lid together
with a piercing noise,
check:
That the gasket is not caught between the body and
the lid.
If you cannot open the
lid:
Check that the selector is set to PRESSURE
RELEASE.
Check that the pressure indicator is down.
If not, release pressure by moving the program
selector to PRESSURE RELEASE

Never tamper with this pressure indicator.
If food is not cooked or
has burnt, check:
The cooking time is correct.
The heat level was either too low or too high.
That the cooking program selector was in the right
position.
The amount of liquid was sufficient for the cooking
time.
If food has burnt in the
PC8-PRECISION:
Fill the pot with water and leave the
PC8-PRECISION to soak for a while before
washing.
Never use bleach or chlorine products.
If one of the safety
systems is triggered:
Turn off the heat.
Leave PC8-PRECISION to cool down without
moving it or turning the program selector
(F)
to the
steam release positon and do not open it until it has
completely cooled.
Check and clean the operating valve, the steam
release outlet, the safety valve and the gasket.
If the fault persists, have your PC8-PRECISION
inspected by an All-Clad approved service center.
If the decompression
valve (O) is
disassembled:
Have your PC8-PRECISION inspected by an
All-Clad approved service center.
