Shift Direction and Offset frequency setting
Conventional repeaters are operated in the DUPLEX mode, which receives an incoming
signal on one frequency and re-transmits on another. The difference between these two fre-
quencies is called the offset frequency. The offset is variable between 0 to 99.995MHz on
this unit.

Shift release (off)

After pressing the FUNC key, and pressing the
MHz key while [F] appears on the display, the
display will show the current status of the off-
set frequency and the shift direction. By repeat-
edly pressing the MHz key, shift direction will
be changed as shown to the right.

By rotating the dial (or by pressing the UP/
DOWN key) while the shift frequency is dis-
played, one click will change the frequency by
one channel step.

After pressing the FUNC key, rotating the dial
will change the frequency by 1MHz depend-
ing on which direction the dial is rotated (or if
the Mic UP/DOWN key is pressed).
4.
Pressing the PTT key or the V/M key will com-
plete the setting and the display will return to
the original status.
