Wind stopper fitting
and removal operations
shall be carried out with the
top cover open and the top
folded into the space provided
for the purpose.

The wind stopper located behind the
seats
fig. 75
, improves driving com-
fort at whatever speed since it limits air
turbulence that forms inside the pas-
senger’s compartment when driving with
the top fully open.
Fitting
Press button C-fig. 61 to stow the top
into its housing.
Proceed as follows:

Stop the top cover at open position
(when the top is stowed in its hous-
ing) to access the fixings of the two
caps fitted into the slots of the fin-
ishing on the upper wall between the
Roll Bars and that can be reached
from the front side of the top hous-
ing.

Open the two doors pulling the rel-
evant tongs
A-fig. 76 and unscrew
the two knobs that fix the plugs. Re-
move the plugs and insert the Wind
stopper in the two horizontal slots
B-fig. 77 and in the two side slots
C on the roll bar and make sure that
they are properly positioned.

IMPORTANT After concluding these
operations, you are however recom-
mended to contact Alfa Romeo Au-
throrised Services to restore regular top
operation.
Opening the top
Emergency opening of the top shall be
carried out at Alfa Romeo Authorised
Services.
