Composing A Message
Proceed as follows to compose a message:

Select “Edit Messages”

Type the letters on the keyboard to
compose the text of the message

Select “Save Messages” to save the text
and display it full screen or select “Cancel”
to delete the text
NOTE:

Composition of a text message is only
possible when the car is stationary.

Messages can be up to 50 characters long.
Sending A Predefined Message
Proceed as follows to send a predefined
message:

Select the message from the list on the
display: a screen with the following options
will appear on the display: "Recent Calls",
“Favorites”, "Contacts", or "Dial"

Select one of these options, the display will
show the list from which you can select the
contact to send the message to

Select “Confirm?” to send the message
MANAGING CALLS
Calls In Progress
When you receive a phone call, the following
information will appear on the display:

Picture (if available) of contact

Contact details (name and number)

Duration of phone call

Buttons (which can only be activated by
means of touchscreen functions) for acti -
vating/deactivating the microphone, ending
the call, and transferring the call to the
device.
