Accessories
The unit can be supplied with proximity sensors to indicate that the unit is either fully open, fully closed,
or both. If this option is required, a sensor part number: TE75P507 will be required for each position.
If the SSB Retractor is being ordered with ATEX Certification it is important to note that if a sensor is
fitted the ATEX Category & Zone in which the SSB Retractor can be used will be effected.
The SSB Retractor is ATEX Category 1 but if sensors are fitted the unit will assume the lower ATEX
rating of the Proximity Sensor.
If sensors are required for an ATEX environment please consult Alfa Laval.

Warning:
It is important to note that the SSB Retractor is ATEX Category 1 for installations in
zone 0/20.
However, if Proximity sensors are fitted the overall ATEX rating of the SSB Retractor
will assume the lower ATEX rating of the proximity sensor.
