IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
The use of electrical appliances always requires compliance with general safety precautions
in order to reduce the risk of electric shock and/or injury to persons.
A list of such precautions follows:
1.
READ THE INSTRUCTIONS THOROUGHLY BEFORE USING THE PRODUCT.
2.
Before using the blender read and follow the instructions in the user manual. Save the
instructions and refer to them for as long as the product is in use.
3.
Dispose of the packaging properly and keep the plastic bags out of the reach of children.
4.
Only use the product for its intended purpose. Alessi declines any responsibility for
damage caused by improper use.
5.
Do not use with a mains voltage different from the one specified on the label of the product.
6.
Do not use adaptors and/or extension cables.
7.
Do not pull on the cable when removing the plug from the socket.
8.
KEEP THE APPLIANCE OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.
9.
Do not place the appliance on or near gas or electric burners or in an oven or near any
sources of heat.
10.
Keep the blender far from the edge of the work surface to avoid spilling. Rest the
blender on a flat and dry surface.
11.
WARNING: THE BLADES ARE SHARP. SPECIAL CARE MUST BE TAKEN WHEN
HANDLING THEM DURING CLEANING OPERATIONS.
12.
Should the blades jam, unplug the appliance from the mains before using a spatula to
move any ingredients that are obstructing the blades.
13.
To reduce the risk of serious injury and to avoid damaging the appliance, never put your
hands or any tools in the pitcher while the blender is in operation. A wood or plastic
spatula may be used, but only after the blender has been switched off.
Keep hands, hair, clothing and utensils far from the blades while they are in operation to
avoid personal injury or damage to the appliance.
14.
Do not rinse or immerse the motor unit, the power cable or the plug in water or other liquids.
15.
Do not touch the appliance with wet hands.
16.
Do not use this electrical appliance outdoors.
17.
Always remove the plug from the socket when the appliance is left unattended, during
and after each use, before any cleaning or maintenance or in the event of a malfunction.
18.
Never leave the blender unattended while it is in operation and always remove the plug
when it is not in use.
19.
Never fill beyond the maximum level marked on the graduated pitcher. Do not use the
