C.TO TURN OFF THE REMOTE STARTER:
When the engine is running in (
Remote Start Mode
), if you want shut
down the engine:
1. Press the
button
twice
on the transmitter, the engine will shut off.
2. Move the optional remote starter enable toggle switch to the
OFF
position. (If installed)
3. Press the brake pedal. The engine will shut down and the parking lights
will turn off to indicate engine has shut down.
D. TO OPERATE THE VEHICLE WHILE RUNNING ON THE REMOTE
START:
To operate the vehicle while running in
Remote Start Mode
.
1. Insert the ignition key into the ignition switch and turn it to the
ON
(not the start) position.
2. Press the brake pedal.
Note: If the brake pedal is pressed before the key is in the ON
position, the engine will shut off.
E. PIT STOP FEATURE:
This feature allows the vehicle to remain running after the key has been
removed from the ignition switch. This feature is useful for occasions when
you wish to exit and lock the vehicle for short periods of time, but would
like to leave the engine running and the Heater/AC control on.
1. Before turning off the engine, press the
button
twice
on the transmitter
and the LED indicator will flash
3 times
to confirm it has been entered.
2. Turn the ignition key to the
OFF
position. (The engine will stay running.)
3. The engine will remain running until the pre-programmed time elapsed
or a shutdown input is received.
F. TURBO COOL-DOWN TIMER MODE:
Turbo Cool Down timer mode keeps the engine running after arriving at you
destination for a programmable period of 1/ 3 or 5 minutes, This allows the
systems time to conveniently cool down the turbo after you have left the
vehicle. The time setting is programmed by the installer.
To activate:
1. While the engine is running, place the transmission in the park position
and apply the emergency brake.
