Wunderground.
4. now input the location of your weather station as accurate as possible
5. take your smartphone or tablet and connect it with the desired router
on which the weather station must be registered. Only use a 2.4GHz
connection. Go to the App Store or Play Store, download the app ‘WS
Tool’ and run the app.
6. simultaneously press and hold the RAIN
and ALARM buttons on the indoor unit for
4 seconds until the WiFi icon starts
flashing rapidly.
7. press “Add Device” in the active app; a
new screen will appear in the display.
“Router SSID”: this indicates the name
of the router on which the smartphone or
tablet is registered.
“Router Password”: Enter the password
of the router here.
Check “Show Password” to make the
password visible.
Check “SSID is Hidden” if the SSID
name of the router is made hidden.
now press “Confirm”, “Add” or “Save”
8. TO LINK WITH THE INTERNET
(Weather Underground)
All passwords and ID codes mentioned and shown in this chapter are
examples and for illustrative purposes only.
8.1 Introduction:
You may upload the measurements of this weather station to the website
of Weather Underground (Wunderground). This date is then combined
with the measurements of other weather stations in the neighbourhood,
creating a very accurate weather reflection. Your measurements will also
be stored by Wunderground, you can then use your personal account to
show the data on the screen of your computer or smartphone in a diagram
or graph form.
8.2 To register your weather station:
Follow the steps below to register the weather station on Wunder-
ground:
1. make sure that the
power adaptor of the
indoor unit is connect-
ed and that the adaptor
is inserted into a 230V
wall socket
2. go to the site www.
wunderground.com,
create a new personal
account (you can make
up any user name and
password, but the email
address must really be
yours) and then select ‘Basic-Free’ for a free membership
3. click ‘Register Your
PWS’, click ‘Send
