BEFORE USE
The MPA-BOX functions on the mains.
MAINS POWER:
Only connect the MPA-BOX to a mains power of 230 Volt.
In most European countries, the mains operates on 230 Volts.
Use the supplied power cord to connect the MPA-BOX with the mains.
SPEAKER SETUP
POWER SWITCH:
Use the power switch to turn the speaker on and off.
MASTER VOLUME (lower level button):
The master volume control allows you to control the total volume level of the
set. When this volume control is switched off (counter-clockwise), the set will not
produce any sound. ATTENTION: Turn this control fully counter-clockwise before
switching on the set to prevent the volume level from being too high.
Separate equipment can be connected tot the MPA-BOX, e.g. a DVD player (ka
-
raoke), mini disk player or separate MP3 player. These devices must be provided
with a line output. Use a suitable cable (not included) to connect these devices to
the LINE IN input, the AUX input of the set.
MIC VOLUME CONTROL (microphone) (upper level button):
An external microphone or electric device with cables can be connected to the “
MIC
input
” (XLR) (balanced/symetrical) and (Jack) (balanced/symmetrical).
The MIC volume control allows you to adjust the volume of the related input. Keep in
mind to slightly turn up the master volume control, otherwise you won’t hear anything.
LINE VOLUME CONTROL (AUX): (centre level button)
- XLR input. - Cinch input.
Het is aan te raden om of de XLR input of de Cinch input separaat te gebruiken.
We recommend you to use either the XLR input or the Cinch input separately.
Using both inputs simultaneously can lead to sound distortion. The LINE IN
volume control allows you to adjust the volume of the related input. Keep in mind
to slightly turn up the master volume control, otherwise you won’t hear anything.
Treble:
Use this control to adjust the level of the higher tones.
Bass:
Use this control to adjust the level of the lower tones.
LINE OUT
:
6.3mm jack symmetrical output for an additional amplifier.
