− Persons with pacemakers may only use
devices for measuring heart rate in con-
sultation with their physician.
− Do not use the chest strap if you are
allergic to latex. The chest strap may
contain latex constituents and cause
irritation and reddening of your skin.
− Batteries may pose a risk to health if
ingested. You should therefore store the
battery and the chest strap so that they
are not accessible for small children. If a
battery has been swallowed, you must
seek immediate medical attention.
− Promptly remove an empty battery from
the chest strap. Otherwise it could leak.
In this case, avoid contact with skin,
eyes or mucus membranes. In the event
of contact with battery acid, immediately
flush the applicable areas with plenty
of clean water and consult a physician
promptly.
