During the first start of the unit, the use of the assistant is mandatory. The unit ill only start if all steps have been validated until the end of the “Airflow settings”
assistant. The assistant “Connectivity”, to declare all installed accessories is optional.

Language To adapt the language of the remote control according to installateur and end-user
Country of inst.
To adapt the unit’s menu to each country. Some functions (French Airflow assistant / Danish fire dam-
pers are only available in some dedicated countries.
Date and hour To save accurately the unit’s historics with the real dates and hours
Orientation
To adapt during the installation the directions of the airflow in the unit.
All units are delivered in A from factory, if they stay in A, no action specific necessary.
Config A Config B Permet de régler l’orientation de l’unité. Si l’unité reste en A, pas d’action spécifique obligatoire
B Letter ok If change to B, break the B letter on the green channel and place it on the A
Inverse filters If switch to B, inverse the two filters
HR SENSOR- DK If switch to B, move the HR sensor to the other side of the unit
Pre. intern. To confirm the installation of an internal pre-heater and confirm the right installation side (according to A or B)
Condensates ok To confirm that the condensate connection as been done
Regulation mode To choose the regulation mode according to your installation (see next page)
Config. levels To set all values of ventilation levels (L0- Vacation / L1- Daily / L2-Push Button / L3-Boost).
Connect assistant To confirm the installation of some additional accessories. Not mandatory

Menu Description
Assistant reboot
To launch a restart of the commissioning assistant, as during the first start of the unit.
This is not a factory reset : the values already entered will be proposed again. For a factory reset, please
use the dedicated sub-menu (3.2.14).
Reglages
Language To adapt the language of the remote control according to installateur and end-user
Country of inst.
To adapt the unit’s menu to each country. Some functions (French Airflow assistant / Danish fire dampers are
only available in some dedicated countries.
Date and hour To save accurately the unit’s historics with the real dates and hours
Regulation mode
To choose the regulation mode of the unit :
-In France, only constant airflow is possible. Out of France, constant speed is available too.
-For constant pressure regulation, please refer to the accessory “Constant Pressure mainboard kit”
Config. level
To set for all 4 ventilation levels : L0- Vacation / L1- Daily / L2 – Push Button / L3 - Boost
The setting will be in m3/h, % of speed or Pa acording to the regulation mode.
Dwelling type
To launch a ventilation speed calculation assistant according to the French standard NF 205 Auto. Enter the
dwelling characteristics and the unit will automatically set the right ventilation airflows for each
level L0-L1-L2-L3. The use of this assistant outside of France is not recommended by Aldes.
Imbalance
To set an unbalance of the supply air compared to extract air. This unique % will be taken in account on each
level L0 to L3. This settin g is only available in « constant pressure » regulation mode.
Radon mode
To set an imbalance of +15% of supplied air versus extracted air permanently and for all speeds based on
recommendations regarding ventilation in dwelling located in Radon risky zones.
Open fireplace
To activate for the end-user the possibility to start with his remote control a two hours overpressure of +15%
of supplied air versus extracted air to allow a fire in an open fire place to burn in the best conditions.
Timer filters
To adjust the duration of the filter timer according to the characteristics of the accommodation, the location or
the occupants' expectations: Possible values: from 6 to 12 months.
Units To personnalize the different units C°, m3/h, etc…
T° Confort Allows to set the supplied air temperature between 16°C and 23°C , only when an external post-heater is installed.
Certifications
To specify the type of accommodation and its possible PassivHaus certification. If this is the case, the unit will
adapt its defrosting strategy accordingly (no single cut-off of the insufflation motor allowed). Aldes recom-
mends the “Non Passiv Haus” configuration if possible.
Factory reset To restart the units with its factory settings. A new commissioning will be necessary.
Quick fine tune
This sub-menu is used to correct the flow rates measured at the grills up to +10%.
This is only available for the “constant flow” regulation mode and on L1 and L2 speeds
Connectivity
Sensors
To set some 0-10V sensors. Minimum voltage value U min will correspond to L1-Daily level and Maximum
voltage value U max will correspond to L3. The ventilation level will change proportionnally.
Heating coils To set the presence of external pre-heating or post-heating coils.
Fire dampers VEX40T only To monitor some Fire-dampers according to Danish regulation DS428 with the « fire dampers box kit » sold as accessory.
Dry contact config To set the position of the unit Dry contact. Standard setting : NO = normally Open. Can be set to NC = normally closed
Maintenance
Actual values
To check in real time the different key values of the unit in operation: flow setpoints, motor voltages, probe
temperatures, etc.) for a quick maintenance diagnosis
Demo signal
To launch a demonstration phase of the different colors of the light signal (for InspirAIR Top Premium only).
Any exit from this menu stops the demonstration
