Go to
“Phone”
app
On the Start screen, select
Phone
, then select
History

Phone book
> name >
number.
If there’s someone you call frequently, add them to speed dial. Go to
Speed dial
>
touch
+
. Enter that contacts’ name in the search box, select their name, and then that
number will be added into Speed dial
Call from a text conversation
Sometimes it's just easier to talk. During your conversation in the Messaging
app, select
Call
to switch from typing to talking.

How can I send a text message?
To send a text message
1)
On the Start screen, select
Messaging
, then
New
.
2)
Enter a phone number or contact, type your message, and then select
Send
.
If you type a message and don’t want to send it, it’ll be saved as a draft. You’ll see it in
Messaging
>
Conversations
.

How can I reply while I’m playing games or doing something else?
There is no need to interrupt your game to type out a quick text reply. When you get an
incoming message, it appears at the top of your screen as a notification banner. Pull down to
reply, and when you’re done, go right back to whatever else you were doing.
