Adjust message settings
You can adjust a range of message settings. From the
Messaging application screen, touch

.

Touch to change your default SMS app.

Touch to add or edit message templates.
Storage

Delete old
messages
Select to delete old messages when the
maximum number of stored messages is
reached.

Text message
limit
Touch to set the maximum number of text
messages to be saved per conversation.

Multimedia
message
limit
Touch to set the maximum number of
multimedia messages to be saved per
conversation.
Notifications

Notifications
Select to display message notifications in
the status bar.

ringtone
Touch to select a ringtone as a new
message notification tone.

Vibrate
Select to have phone vibrate as a
notification when receiving a new
message.

Beep when on
an active call
Mark the checkbox to have the phone beep
when a new message is received on an
active call.
