Configuring general settings
1 In the Web Administrator, select
Configuration|General
Settings
.
The
General Settings Properties
dialog appears.
2 Enter the e-mail address that will be used as the sender of the
sytstem alerts, in the
From E-mail Address
field.
3 Enter the e-mail address where the system alerts are to be sent, in
the
To E-mail Address
field.
4 The name of the mail server specified during installation is displayed
by default, in the
Mail Server Name
field. This entry should be
changed only if a different mail server is to be used.
5 The
Outgoing
and
Incoming
options allow you to specify the
maximum number of faxes allowed in the outgoing or incoming fax
queue. The default is unlimited for both queues. If a maximum is
specified, the faxes that exceed the maximum are held at the
gateway, to be forwarded when the queue is cleared.
Note:
These entries do not specify the number of faxes that can be
sent or received, but rather the maximum number of faxes in
the queues at a given time. As the fax queues are cleared, the
number of faxes in the queue is lowered, and the maximum
can be approached again. An entry of
0
disables the queue.

Notification Timeout(min)
specifies the number of minutes
after which the fax system will stop trying to deliver fax notifications
