Slot provisioning

Overview

The slot TS2 must be provisioned for a node in the process of creation.

Before you begin

Before provisioning slots, determine the following:

•

Before provisioning the E slot configuration, it is assumed that the new
configuration of the E is known. This includes the exact types of units to be
provisioned and the corresponding slot positions for these units.

•

For the 1645 AMC , the only slot which may be user assigned is TS2.

•

The main unit must be assigned before its corresponding interface units are assigned.

Procedure

Proceed as follows to provision the slots of an E (this procedure includes both assigning
and unassigning units):
