Audio Configuration
CD-ROM Audio-In Connector: CD-IN
This header is used to attach an audio cable to audio resources, such as CD-ROM,
DVD-ROM…etc.
S/PDIF header: SPDIF
S/PDIF (Sony/Philips Digital
Interface) is a recent audio
transfer file format which
provides high quality audio
using optical fiber and digital
signals. First, install the S/PDIF
device (optional) into your PC,
and attach the SPDIF wire to the
mainboard SPDIF header. The
SPDIF device will has onboard
RCA connector or TOS-Link
connector for you attaching an audio cable to another SPDIF audio module, then the
SPDIF formatted audio output will be ready. However, you must use the SPDIF supported
speakers to enable the SPDIF formatted audio output and make it to be efficiency.
Front Audio Header: FRONT AUDIO
If your PC front panel has front audio ports, please remove the jumpers on this header,
and then you can use the audio ports on both your PC front panel and back panel at the
same time. On the other hand, if your PC front panel does not have the design of audio
ports, please set jumpers on this header to the default location (
Note:
Jumper 1 should
be on pin 5-6, and jumper cap2 should be on pin 9-10) in order to avoid your PC back
panel audio ports failure.
