Instructions to Uncrate Your TRAXX™RF
Inside of this box you will find the remote control for your TRAXX™RF.
• There are two batteries and a charger inside of the box as well.
• These batteries are shipped from the factory with no charge to enhance their lifetime performance.
• Before you can operate the TRAXX RF at least one of the batteries will need to be fully charged.
Remove the charger and a battery from the box.
• Insert the battery into the charger so the positive (+) and negative (-) poles of the battery are in
contact with the positive and negative output posts of the charger.
• Plug the charger into a standard 12 volt power outlet in any vehicle or suitable 12 volt power
source and apply 12 volts of power to the outlet.
• It is important that you allow the batteries to fully charge before their first use. Please allow approx-
imately 8 hours for the full charge to ensure proper operation and enhanced battery performance.
Attached to the roll cage is a canister containing the owner's manual.
• Please read and understand the manual before attempting to operate this machine.
The following standard accessories are also included inside of the crate.
• A grease gun kit for maintaining the proper track tension.
• A towing accessories kit for use in case the machine requires towing.
On the side of the remote there is a tag with all or part of your serial number written on it.
• These digits should match the last three digits or all of the TRAXX RF serial number, which can be
found on the inside of the right track.
• If you have purchased more than one TRAXX RF you can use this sticker to match the remotes to
the TRAXX RF units.
To remove the TRAXX RF from the crate:
• You will need to remove and set aside all of the boxes which are touching the tracks.
• There are two chock blocks behind the tracks which will need to be removed as well.
• While they are not necessary, you may want to use ramps to get the machine out of the crate. This
will preserve the condition of the crate.
