6.4 Installation

Problems

This section covers errors and problems surrounding installation
only. For other problems, please see the other sections in this
chapter.

Problem Solution

Error message:

"Setup

cannot find
OEMSETUP.INF or
OEMSETNT.INF"

Make sure that you are attempting to
install from the Adapters tab of the
Network Control Panel Applet
(NCPA).

Ensure that you are specifying the
proper drive letter for your CD-ROM
drive.

Error message:

“No

SLIC adapters found”

Make sure that the Accelerator has been
correctly installed in a PCI slot and that
the PCI slot is enabled (some PCI hot-
plug capable systems will not enable PCI
slots unless the slot fastener is secured).
