Carburetor Adjustment
The carburetor is optimally set at the factory.
Sparkplug
(Illustration 9)
Sparkplug electrode gap = 0.635 mm [0.025”].
Remove sparkplug with a torque of 12-15 nm.

Loosen cutting blade from protective shield.

fi le. Only fi le in one direction.
Adjusting the Bowden cables
The Bowden cables of your strimmer are factory-adjusted.
If the position of the “bike grip” handle is signifi cantly
changed, this can cause the Bowden cable to stretch,
resulting in malfunctioning of the throttle.
If the cutting head does not come to a standstill after the
strimmer has been started and the half throttle lock has
been released, the Bowden cable must be adjusted by
means of the adjusting screw (Figure 10 -a).
Correct functioning of the throttle is then assured once
again.
Caution!
Risk of injury from rotating cutting head!
Only adjust Bowden cables with the engine switched off.
Only check the function with the strimmer lying down.
Storage
Empty fuel tank.

Start motor and allow to run empty until it stops.
2.
Allow motor to cool.
3.
Loosen spark plug with a spark plug socket.
4.
Pour a teaspoon of 2-cycle oil into the combustion

chamber. To distribute the oil within the interior of the
motor, pull the starter cord slowly several times.
Replace spark plug.
6.
Thoroughly clean device and service.
7.
Store device in a cool, dry place.

Caution!
Do not store device near open fl ames or heating sources
- Burn and/or explosion danger!
Recommissioning
Remove spark plug.

Quickly pull starter cord, in order to remove remaining

oil from the combustion chamber.
Clean spark plug, examine electrode condition,

replace as necessary.
Prepare device for use.
4.
Fill up tank with the correct fuel-oil mixture (25:1).
5.
Waste disposal
Do not dispose worn-out
equipment with household
waste!
Packaging, equipment and accessories are
manufactured from recyclable materials and may be
disposed of accordingly.
