Trouble Shooting Guide
Should you experience problems, please consult the guide below before returning to point of
Symptom Possible fault Remedy
Dead. No led lit Power not connected Check the power supply module is
connected and turned on
Dead Led lit Red Set stuck in standby Press Power button on the Tv or
Remote Control
Back light off Tv faulty. Call Help Line
No picture. Led Green
TV in PC mode Select TV or AV Mode
Set not tuned in TuneTv to a Local Station
Aerial nor connected Connect a good aerial signal
No picture. Blue Screen.
Tv switched to AV or PC Select TV with handset
Poor Picture. Noisy or Ghosting Poor aerialsignal If using an indoor aerial you may need
an outdoor aerial fitted
Teletext missing words or breaking up As above As above
Volume turned down or muted (TV) Turn up the volume and check if Mute
“OSD” is shown.
No Sound AV or PC connection not made

Check all external connections and that
the “feed” is turned on

PC Not connected toTv Checkconnections.
Display shows “No Signal”
PC not set correctly to TV settings Enter the PC display setup section and
set the PC correctly
Picture Noisy or Jittering Tv not adjusted to PC correctly Enter TV PC Menu and select “AUTO”

No Sound in PC mode Check PC sound connection This is different from AV mode and
must be connected seperately
Remote Control
Out of range or objects in “site line” Move nearer, or move any objects in
“site line” No, or intermittent Remote Control
Batteries low Replace batteries every 6 months
