Use gasoline of octane level 86 or higher. 

 

As unleaded gasoline causes less engine and spark plug deposits and lengthens the service life of the 

exhaust, we recommend unleaded gasoline usage.  

Never use old or dirty gasoline or oil/gasoline mixtures. Prevent dust or water entrance into the fuel tank.

 

While the device is operating under heavy load, you might hear a sparking stroke or a tinkling. This is not 

important. However if sparking stroke or tinkling is heard under normal load, constant engine speed, 

change your gasoline brand. If the problem continues, contact authorized generator seller.

 

CAUTION

 

Operating the engine under continuous knocking or tinkling may harm the engine. 

 

 

Operating the engine under continuous knocking or tinkling counts as faulty operation. Seller 

guarantee does not include components failed by faulty operation.  

Oxygenated Fuels 

 

Some gasolines are mixed with alcohol or ether components in order to increase the octane level. These 

kind of gasolines are named oxygenated fuels. Oxygenized fuel has been used in some part of USA to 

prevent air pollution. If you use oxygenized fuel, be sure that the pump octane rate is 86 or higher.  

 

Ethanol (Ethyl or granule alcohol) 

 

Gasolines  containing  more  than  10%  ethanol  may  cause  operation  or  performance  problems. 

Gasolines containing ethanol may be sold under the name "Gasohol".  

Methanol (methyl alcohol) 

 

Gasolines containing methanol should also contain solvents and friction inhibitors to protect the fuel 

system. Gasolines containing more than 5% methanol may cause operation and/or performance 

problems and may harm metal, plastic or rubber parts of the system.  

MTBE (Methyl tertiary butyl ether) 

 

You may use gasoline containing up to 15% MTBE. Before using oxygenized fuel, be sure the content of 

the fuel. Notification in gas stations of this information may be obligated in some countries (In Canada 

cities). If undesired effect is seen, start using normal unleaded gasoline. Fuel system problems or 

performance problems related to oxygenized fuel usage are not our responsibility and are not covered by 

the guarantee.  

Oxygenized fuels may harm paints and plastics. When filling the fuel tank, look out for spilling 
the fuel. Damage caused by spilled fuel is not covered by the guarantee.
