Mitsubishi Alarm No. 3 - BiSS SLO received by adapter violates BiSS C protocol rule (BiSS MA Rx Error) might be due
to the root causes below:
•
Sync Error
Triggered if SLO is low during the first rising edge of MA clk
•
Slave Ack Error
Triggered if SLO is high during the third falling edge of MA clk
•
Start Bit Error
Triggered if SLO ack for more than max allowable acknowledge duration (35
μs
)
•
Zero Bit Error
Triggered if SLO is high after start bit
Mitsubishi Alarm No.4 - Mitsubishi RQ received by adapter violates Mitsubishi Serial protocol rule (Mit SL Rx Error)
might be due to the root causes below:
•
Sync Code Error
Triggered if sync code received by adapter is incorrect
•
Fake Start Error
Triggered if start bit detected does not hold low according to baud rate duration
The root causes of Mitsubishi Alarm no. 3 and 4 can be further diagnosed using PC software. Refer to diagnostic part of
Troubleshooting for Mitsubishi Alarm
1.
What will happen if driver is turned on without connected to ITF-21-BISS-MIT? Or 5V and Gnd of driver interface
cable is not connected correctly.
Answer: Mitsubishi Alarm 16.3 will be triggered.
2.
What will happen if encoder is not connected to ITF-21-BISS-MIT? Or 5V and Gnd of encoder cable is not
connected correctly.
Answer: Mitsubishi alarm no. 3 (BiSS SLO received by adapter violates BiSS C protocol rule) will be triggered
due to Slave Ack Error. This is because since the encoder is not connected or power on, so there is no one pull
the SLO low to acknowledge the MA clk send by ITF-21-BISS-MIT.
3.
What will happen if data lines between the driver and ITF-21-BISS-MIT is not connected correctly?
Answer: Mitsubishi Alarm 16.3 might be triggered.
4.
What will happen if data lines between ITF-21-BISS-MIT and encoder is not connected correctly?
Answer: Mitsubishi alarm no.3 (BiSS SLO received by adapter violates BiSS C protocol rule) might be triggered.
