1.1 Use in the bathroom
Use the device such that it is not possible for someone
in the bath or shower to touch the control elements.
In accordance with VDE 0100 Part 701, the device
must not be fitted in protected zones 0 and 1. The de-
vice must receive its power supply via a protective re-
sidual current device (FI).
2. Installation of the supporting feet
Do not operate the heating device without the feet sup-
plied being fitted.
Model WW 101 E is supplied without casters.
Supporting feet, casters and
the two fixing screws are
provided loose.
Screw down supporting feet
as shown and attach cast-
ers if required.
Wall mounting
The heating device must be
aligned horizontally and in-
stalled on a vertical wall (see
illustration).
Make sure that the inflow and
outflow of air at the top and
bottom of the device are un-
impeded
.
Drill fixing holes for the
two wall brackets at dis-
tance "A" and plug.
Screw down wall brackets and attach heater.
3. Electrical Connection
The voltage specified on the type plate must match the
local mains voltage.
If the power cord of this device is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, the manufacturer's after-
sales service or a similarly qualified person, in order to
prevent risks.
The device plug must always be accessible. In order to
avoid hazards due to inadvertent resetting of the ther-
mal cut-out, this appliance must not be supplied
through an external switching device, such as a timer,
or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on
and off by the utility company.
4. Operation
4.1 Thermostat
The room tempera-
ture
is
regulated
using the infinitely
adjustable
thermo-
stat. If the rotary
knob is set to the
lowest setting i.e. to
the extreme left (see
figure), the thermo-
stat
switches
the
heating device on at
an ambient tempera-
ture of approx. 5° - 8°
C. During boost (see
below), the thermostat does not work
4.2 Switches and buttons
The device has one On/Off switch and four buttons with
telltales. The buttons can be used to select the follow-
ing functions:
4.3 Heating level I, heating level II
Various levels of heating output can be set, see table.
4.4 Comfort
The temperature set on the thermostat's rotary knob is
taken into account.
4.5 Setback
The temperature set on the thermostat's rotary knob is
reduced by around 4°.
4.6 Boost
The temperature set on the thermostat's rotary knob is
not taken into account. Heating levels I and II are acti-
vated.
Press "Boost" button once: light is red; boost for 30
minutes. Press "Boost" button twice: light is green;
boost for 1 hour.
Press "Boost" button again: boost deactivated.
