Item RF. AGC adjustment
Measuring equipment SG and digital multi meter service remote control
Preparation before Adj. Connect a digital multi meter to TP101 point on the chassis.
1. Receive Philips circular testing signal.
2. Adjust the signal input level to 62db ± 1db.
3. Connect the digital voltage meter to TP –A.
4. Press the PROD (factory) button on the maintenance use remote controller to start adjusting
mode.
5. Press CH+ button to select RF. AGC option. Use Vol+ to adjust the value of RF. AGC till the
reading on the voltage meter is 5.5V ±0.1V.
6. Press PROD (factory) button till exit.

Preparation before Adj. Brightness, contrast and color should be set in standard
1. Vertical size adjustment
a. Receive Philips testing (PAL system) signal.
b. Press PROD (factory) button to start adjusting mode.
c. Press CH± button to select V.SIZE option, use VOL± to adjust the value of V.SIZE
till the vertical over-scan is 8%.
d. AV receive Philips testing (NTSC system) signal.
e. Press CH ± button to select NT.V.SIZE function. Use VOL ± to adjust the value of
NT. V. SIZE till the vertical over-scan is 8%.
f. Press PROD (factory) till exit.
2. Vertical center adjustment
a. Receive Philips circular testing signal (PAL system).
b. Press PROD (factory) button on the maintenance use remote controller to start
adjusting mode.
c. Press CH ± button to select V.POSI option. Use VOL ± to adjust the value of V.POST
till the picture is in the vertical center.
d. AV receives Philips circular test signal (NTSC system).
e. Press CH ± button to select NT. V. SIZE option. Use VOL ± to adjust the value of NT.
V. SIZE till the picture appears in the vertical center.
f. Press PROD (FACTORY) till exit.
