USING YOUR APPLIANCE

8.  To record on the tape’s reverse side, 

press the STOP/EJ button twice and 

open the door. Take out the tape and 

insert it with the reversed side up, 

close the door and press the record 

button to resume.

9.  You can erase a recording by 

beginning a new recording on the 

same tape. 

10.  To listen to your recording, use the 

buttons to control playback.

TROUBLESHOOTING

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

Problem

Possible Cause

The tape player will not 

turn on.

Make sure the device is plugged into the mains or that the 

batteries are properly installed. Then turn on the device.

The tape player will not 

record.

Make sure the device is powered on. 

Check to see if a tape is inside the cassette player & that the 

record button has been pressed.

If using an external MIC/device to record, make sure it has not 

been disconnected. 

The device will play even 

though the PLAY button 

has been pressed. 

The device will automatically shut off when the tape comes 

to an end. To continue reverse the tape or rewind it to begin 

playback. 

1.  Always disconnect the equipment 

from the power supply before 

cleaning.

2.  Clean the equipment with a soft, 

damp, lint free cloth.

3.  Do not use abrasives or harsh 

cleaners.
