USING YOUR APPLIANCE

BEFORE FIRST USE: 

• 

Remove your appliance from the 

packaging.

• 

Dispose of the packaging in a 

responsible manner.

• 

Locate your appliance in accordance 

with the safety instructions.

• 

Plug the appliance into the mains 

supply.

• 

Your appliance is now ready for 

normal use.

POWER OPTIONS:

• 

Batteries: Insert 4 x DC 1.5V size 

C batteries (not included) into the 

battery compartment.

• 

Adaptor: Plug the adaptor into the 

AC Power Jack on the back of the 

Cassette Player, and then plug in at 

the mains and switch on.

CONTROLLING PLAYBACK:

1.  Press the STOP/EJ button twice to 

open the cassette door.

2.  Insert a tape into the player. Note: 

Make sure the open part of the 

tape is facing upwards, and that the 

wound ribbon is on the left side of the 

tape. Taking care to insert the tape 

correctly.

3.  Close the door and press the PLAY 

button to play audio on the tape.

4.  Use the Playback buttons in the figure 

above to Rewind, Fast Forward, Stop 

or Pause the cassette tape.

5.  Use the Volume dial (on the left side 

of the tape player) to control the 

volume level. 

6.  Press the STOP button once to end 

playback. Press the STOP/EJ button 

again to eject the tape. The cover will 

open and the tape can be removed or 

reversed. Note: Make sure to close 

the door once the tape is removed 

or has been reversed to continue 

playback.

7.  When the tape finishes, the player 

will stop and automatically turn off.

NOTE: The PLAY button will not function 

after the tape player automatically shuts 

off. To continue using the player, rewind 

the tape or remove it and turn it over. 

RECORDING AUDIO:

The tape player is equipped to record 

audio onto a cassette tape using an 

external or built-in microphone.

1.  Insert a tape into the cassette player.

2.  Use an external microphone/device 

or the built-in microphone to record 

audio. Note: If recording with an 

external device/MIC, plug it into the 

EXT. MIC jack.

3.  Push the REC button to record.

4.  You may now begin recording. 

5.  Note: It’s not necessary to use the 

microphone close to the mouth to 

record. 

6.  The tape player will automatically 

shut off once the end of the tape is 

reached.

7.  Press the STOP/EJC button once to 

stop the recording process at any 

time.
