PROBLEM SOLOUTION
No Sound / Power.
• Adjust the Volume level.
• Power cord not securely connected.
• Batteries dead/incorrectly inserted.
Display does not
function properly.
No reaction to
operation of any of
the controls.
• No CD inserted.
• Insert a CD, MP3, CD-R.
• CD badly scratched or dirty.
• CD-R is blank or the disc is not finalized.
CD/MP3/USB
playback does not
work. • CD/MP3/USB badly scratched or dirty.
• Laser lens steamed up. Wait until the lens has adjusted to
room temperature.
The CD/MP3 skips
tracks.
• CD/MP3 damaged or dirty. Replace or clean CD/MP3
• Program is active. Quit Program mode(s)
TROUBLESHOOTING THE APPLIANCE
CLEANING AND CARE
IMPORTANT:
•
Always disconnect the equipment
from the power supply before
cleaning.
• Clean the equipment with a soft,
damp, lint free cloth.
• Do not use abrasives or harsh
cleaners.
• Store in a cool, dry place away from
children and pets.
CLEANING THE CABINET
•
Use a soft slightly moistened cloth
with a mild detergent solution. Do
not use a solution containing alcohol,
spirits, ammonia or abrasives.
CLEANING THE DISC LENS
•
After prolonged use, dirt or dust may
accumulate at the disc lens. To ensure
good play quality, clean the disc
lens with camera lens brush or any
appropriate commercially available
cleaners. Follow the instructions
supplied with cleaner.
CLEANING DISCS
•
Always disconnect the equipment
from the power supply before
cleaning. When a disc becomes dirty,
clean it with a cleaning cloth. Wipe the
disc from the centre out. Do not use
solvents such as benzene, thinner,
commercially available cleaners, or
antistatic spray intended for analogue
records.
