This adjustment requires NTSC US MPX SOUND MODULATOR.
1. Configure the NTSC US MPX SOUND MODULATOR setting. (Fig. 3-5)
2. Attach the following filter to the test point.
3. Connect the oscilloscope.
WBD (WIDEBAND) Adjustment:
4. Switch the adjustment menu to WBD.
5. Set the internal modulation of NTSC US MPX SOUND MODULATOR to
300Hz.
6. Input the specified input signal to ANT, and adjust the test point waveform to
minimum, using the or - key on the remote control.
SPE (SPECTRAL) Adjustment:
7. Switch the adjustment menu to SPE.
8. Set the internal modulation of NTSC US MPX SOUND MODULATOR to 3KHz.
9. Input the specified input signal to ANT, and adjust the test point waveform to
minimum, using the or - key on the remote control.
Repeat the steps 4 to 9 till both the adjustments reach the minimum level.
