- If pressure adjustment valve is turned 100% CW and pressure is
still not 10 bar.
- Check pump code 504.
- If pump is ok, replace pressure adjustment needle valve - picture.

Drain is blocked and drain alarm limit not set. A system running
production with a blocked or partly blocked drain, will block the
membrane faster than under normal settings.
•
Remove or adjust the drain volume to a value above recommended
minimum.
•
Flush the system by running several cycles.
•
Measure the production flow.
•
If the production flow is still to low, continue to 506.

Flow sensor defect.
•
Close output valve from RO system.
•
Disconnect output hose and connect a test hose that can run to drain.
•
Open the outlet valve and let the system run until pressure in vessel
is not dropping anymore - Check the reading in display.
•
Measure manually the output flow and compare to value in display.
•
Calibrate the sensor or replace if you are unable to calibrate to a valid
and stable value.

Chlorine or Silt in the supply water. Chlorine will breakdown the
membrane within a few hours/days depending on the volume of
free chlorine. Silt material is blocking the membrane and is not
possible to rinse out through drain.
•
Check supply water quality.
•
Check functionality of active carbon filter if installed. Active carbon
should be replaced as described in service guide.

Membrane is worn out or defected by above mentioned reason.

Replace the membrane.

Drain flow alarm limit set to low. Drain flow limit is set to protect
the membrane from failure caused by a blocked or wrong adjusted
drain.
•
Check that alarm setting is set correct. (never lower than
recommended minimum drain flow).

•
Check drain for blockade
•
Do a manually measurement of the flow and compare to value in
display. If there is difference between measured and display value
see 604.

Membrane pressure is to low, causing both drain and production
flow to drop.
•
Readjust membrane pressure.
•
If pressure cannot be adjusted see 503.

Flow sensor defect or not calibrated.
•
Calibrate the flow sensor by following calibration guide. If sensor
cannot be calibrated or if there is no output value at all.
- Replace sensor.
- Redo calibration.
