OVERPRESSURE MEASUREMENT
Overpressure measurement
To carry out an overpressure measurement connect the air hose (7) to the over-
pressure air connection on the top side of the device (8).
Connect the pressure measuring hose (10) to the pressure measuring connec-
tion (11) which is also on the top side of the device. Connect both hoses to the
air duct system to be tested.
The air duct system to be tested must be sealed airtight from the rest of the
system. The use of foil and adhesive tape to seal the openings should be avoi-
ded as these usually lead to major measuring errors. The openings should be
sealed in a technically correct manner, e.g. by end caps. The airLPT113 is connec-
ted via prepared measuring openings. These can be, for example, flanged col-
lars or inspection openings with suitable adapters. According to DIN EN 12599
the test pressure as overpressure for supply air ducts or as underpressure for
air discharge ducts, should be 200 Pa, 400 Pa or 1000 Pa and should be at the
midpoint of the average operating pressure range.
