Issue 2.0

Page 9

The XT 582 has a pull start mechanism on the front of the engine. The pull start should not be used for
in flight starting. The pull start is intended as a back up in the case of a low battery and should only be
operated when the aircraft is on the ground with the park brake activated.

2.7 Placards

The placards on the aircraft are designed to provide information regarding general aircraft limitations
and other details for the safe operation of the aircraft. Listed on the following pages are details of the
placards fitted to the aircraft.
