Installing DRAM SIMMs
When working with DRAM
SIMMs, it is extremely
important that you avoid
static electricity. Always
ground yourself by wearing
a wrist or ankle strap.
1. The SIMM modules should face to the left towards ISA bus slots.
2. Insert the SIMM at a 45 degree angle, tilted away from the ISA slots.
3. Gently push the SIMM to an upright position until it "snaps" into
place.
4. Repeat above steps until the entire bank is filled.
