Usage

i

Close the head supports with the

button�

To do this, just press the button briefly – don't
press and hold�

The head supports automatically touch
against the head of the patient at a defined
pressure�

7.5 Start a test run

The test run ensures that the unit can perform
the image acquisition without any problems�
This prevents unnecessary exposure of the pa-
tient to radiation�

No radiation is generated during the test
run�

Requirements:

– The patient is correctly positioned in the unit

using the positioning aids and the positioning
beams�

– The required imaging program has been

selected�

and hold�

While doing this, constantly monitor the move-
ments of the unit� If the unit is obstructed in its
movements, release the

button� The unit

stops immediately� Reposition the patient�

Press

Return run

to perform the return run�

If necessary, correct the X-ray positioning
beam manually�

i

Once the patient has been correctly posi-
tioned using the positioning beams, deacti-
vate the positioning beams using the button�

Adjusting the head supports

i

Adjust the height of the head supports�

i

Carefully press the head supports by hand to-
wards the head in order to check if they are in
the right position� The device or the head sup-
ports are not damaged in the process�
Ideally, the head supports should make con-
tact slightly above the eye brows; correct the
position as required�
