Instructions for setting up and starting the
pump
1. Pump It Up is designed to work with
domestic air dehumidifiers fitted with
continuous drainage function. Ensure
there is a outlet made to let go the
pipe and the electrical cable.
2. Connect the pipe (4) to the pump's
water outlet (1). Make sure it is
well connection and secure. Then
connect the female connector (7)
of the electrical cable with the male
connector (8). This junction has to be
placed outside of the watertank and
outside of the dehumidifier.
3. Place the pump at the bottom of
the air dehumidifier water tank. It is
perfectly waterproof and is designed
to be immersed under water up to 50
cm deep. The pump has to be settled
vertically and stably on the base of
the water tank and attached with the
suction cups supplied.(3)
4. Ensure that the other end of the pipe
(4) is running onto a water outlet
installation (sink, drain, toilets etc) after
going through the outlet.
5. Plug the electrical cable into a safe
wall socket (9), after going through the
outlet. Your waterpump is now ready to
be used. ☺
6. The pump will automatically detect
the presence of water and will start to
operate when the water level is above
that of the water sensor (6). When the
water level is below the sensor, the
pump automatically stops.
Maintenance and storage
ATTENTION:
always unplug the device
before washing it.
1. We recommended that you regularly
wash regularely your water tank pump
with white vinegar to prevent the
appearance or cumulation of water
scale (calcium).
2. Ensure the filter is also cleaned every 3
to 6 months of water-pump use. Open
the pump to clean the filter (5) with
soap and clean water. Rinse. (Please
refer to the exploded view on the
previous page.)
3. Do not leave the waterpump in old
or stagnant water while the device is
switched off.
4. Do not try to extend the pipe as the
water-pump is designed for a maximum
3 metre pumping lift.
5. Only use the pipe supplied with your
pump. Using another pipe might
damage the water-pump or it may
reduce it's efficiency if it is not correctly
connected.
