UNIT FUNCTIONS
1. On / Off
Connect the machine and press the "ON / OFF" button on
the machine's control panel.
The unit starts with the fan in the 1st stage.
When the unit starts, the UV-C lamp is switched off.
Press the "UV-C" button on the control panel to switch
the lamp on. With the lamp switched on
The LED next to the "UV-C" button lights up.
2. Speed selection
The unit has 5 fan speeds.
Press the
symbol to select the higher fan speed. "FAN SPEED"
The selected fan speed is indicated by the LEDs below the fan
symbol. After the last fan speed has been reached, the 1st
speed is reached again.
After a power failure, the unit continues in the previously
selected operating mode.
Aktiv-carbonfilter: Due to its structure and the design of the
activated carbon filter, it must always be completely
replaced.
The frequency of replacement depends on the air pollution
of the environment and the operating time. At least once a
year the filter must be completely replaced. The unit must
first be disconnected from the power supply. Then open the
housing cover and pull out the filter by the frame, towards
the front. Clean the filter slot.
Note: It is advisable to replace the filter together with the
HEPA filter to avoid additional contamination of the HEPA
filter. Insert the filter in the receptacles in reverse order and
close the unit housing.
UV-C-Lamp: If the lamp change indicator on the unit lights
up, the UV-C lamp needs to be replaced.
Pull the plug out of the socket, open the housing cover.
Carefully remove the UVC lamp from ist holder.
The UV-C
lamp must be disposed of in accordance with the applicable
waste disposal laws!
To increase the effectiveness of UV-C lamps, they should be
cleaned once a month.
Wipe the lamp carefully with a damp cloth. A weak vinegar
water solution can be used for mineral deposits or organic
residues.
A lint-free cloth should be used. The lamp must be
completely dry and dust-free before being put into operation.
