Section 3 - System Functions
3 SYSTEM FUNCTIONS
Section 3 defines the System function calls of the API S/W Library. The System
functions provide board level functions to initialize/reset/selftest the board, setup
IRIG time, read interrupts, define channel as Tx/Rx, define channel speed and define
discrete I/O. . Table 3-I defines the list and definition of System functions. The
function calls in this table are listed in a functional order, however, the detailed
descriptions of the System function calls in the following sections are in alphabetical
order.

Api429CmdChnIntCon Controls the API429 Channel Interrupt
Api429CmdInitDiscretes For APM429 only, initializes 8 discretes as input or output
Api429WriteDiscretes For APM429 only, defines the mask used to define the discrete
output.
Api429ReadDiscretes For APM429 only, reads from the discrete inputs.
Api429CmdBiuIntrCheck Reads BIU interrupt status
Api429CmdExecSys Executes a system-related function
Api429CmdSetIrigTime Sets IRIG time
Api429CmdGetIrigTime Reads IRIG time
