Installing and Preparing the Appliance
Conditions:
Tools and Material:

Wrench, hex head, size 4
î
Screwdriver
Procedure:
1. Remove the component box from its storage
location.
Check that the components listed be-
low are present in the box. If any item
is missing, please contact your supplier.
2. Check component box contents:
î
Air inlet silencer (
1
) and protective cover
(
2
) (for B-Type chimney connection), with
hardware (two bolts and one screw).
î
Condensate trap and protective cover.
3. In case of B-type chimney configuration
(open):
î
Place the silencer (
1
) into the air inlet con-
nection and fasten with provided screw.

The air silencer (
1
) must be installed
if the selected chimney connection is
the B type (open). In case of C-Type
chimney connection do not install the
silencer.

Install protective cover (
2
) over silencer. Fas-
ten with two socket head screws, size 4.
4. Install the condensate trap and protective cov-
er, refer to “Removing, Cleaning and Install-
ing the Condensate Trap” on page I-64 .
Follow-on task(s):
1. Place the appliance in its final location, if re-
quired.
2. Perform gas conversion, as required. Refer
to “Gas Conversion” on page I-43.
3. Close the open panels. Refer to “Opening
and Closing the Front Door and Access
Panels” on page I-29.

Install the air silencer (

) ONLY IF the
selected chimney connection is of
the B type (open). Principle of instal-
lation is the same for both models.
