Chapter 4. BMC Configuration Settings

Obtain an IP address automatically

Enable ‘Use DHCP’ to dynamically configure the IPv4 address using Dynamic Host

Configuration Protocol (DHCP).

IPv6 Address

Specify a static IPv6 address to be configured for the selected interface.

Subnet Prefix length

Specify the subnet prefix length for the IPv6 settings.

• Value ranges from 0 to 128.

Default Gateway

Specify the v6 default gateway for IPv6 settings.

Save

Click ‘Save’ to save any changes made. You will be prompted to log out of the current

UI session and log back in at the new IP address.

Reset

Click ‘Reset’ to reset the modified changes.
